Whilst Compact Interview provides an efficient and convenient recruiting tool to interview people online,
the manner in which our services are used is entirely determined by the Customer. We play no role in
initiating the transmission of interview content. Interviewers and interviewees post their own content, and
it should not be factually inaccurate, unlawful, offensive or promote other goods or services. You will not
post or transmit on the Site any material which contains any virus or other disabling devices which
interferes or may interfere with the operation of the Site; or which alters or deletes any information
which you have no authority to alter or delete; or which overloads the Site by spamming or flooding it.
You will not use any device, routine or software to crash, delay, or otherwise damage the operation of this

services. You agree to indemnify us against any third party claims arising from your use of the site and any
content that you post. We may remove any content that you post where it has any grounds to suspect

We do not determine the recipient of the interview invitation and we do not select or modify the information
contained in any interview transmission. We express no view as to the quality or suitability of any employer
or interviewee and we do not endorse any opinion, recommendation or advice expressed by users of Compact
Interview. We expressly disclaim any and all liability in connection with such content. Accordingly, you
agree that Compact Interview is not responsible for any loss, injury or damage to any individual as a result
either directly or indirectly of any information published on our Site or made available through our
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account including any passwords or login
details associated with Compact Interview. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of
your account of which you become aware. Other than using our services as permitted under the terms and
conditions of this Agreement, or other written agreements between you and Compact Interview, you may not
lease, resell, distribute or make any commercial use of our Site to generate income from our services.
Security and Confidentiality
You may not attempt to subvert the security of this site. You must provide accurate and complete Sign-up and
Log In details in order to validate your account. In order to prevent fraud, you should keep your login and
password details confidential. As the employer, you may wish to share your password with selected members of
your hiring team, but this is your responsibility. If you know or suspect that an unauthorised person knows
your password you should notify us by contacting email@example.com immediately. We accept no
liability for improper use or disclosure of any password.
Compact Interview reserves the right to verify new accounts by contacting the account owner by e-mail, phone
or in person. If Compact Interview has reason to believe that there is likely to be a breach of security or
misuse of the Site, we may require you to change your password or we may suspend your account.
Compact Interview will use its best endeavours and will use best practice measures and standards to maintain
the security and confidentiality of your content and identifiable information. Compact Interview hosts your
content and information on a server that is secured by an authentication scheme and a firewall. You
acknowledge and agree that Compact Interview cannot prevent and, therefore is not responsible, for
inadvertent security breaches.
Each party to this Agreement agrees to hold all Confidential Information of the other party in strict
confidence. Confidential Information shall mean information that derives economic value, actual or
potential, from not being generally known to, and not being readily ascertainable by proper means by, other
persons who can obtain economic value from its disclosure or use. Confidential Information includes, without
limitation, industry and competitive information; technology, product and proposed product information;
pricing arrangements and agreements; employee information; and financial information. Confidential
Information may be written, oral, expressed in electronic media or otherwise disclosed, and may be tangible
Interviewers shall defend, hold harmless and indemnify Compact interview against all loss, damage, claims,
liabilities, fees, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of any action taken against Compact
Interview by an interviewee or a third party based any claim relating to any interview or their use of our
services, including any acts or omissions of the interviewer, the candidate selection process, any
employment, equality or other laws governing interviews and the selection or non-selection of employees
and/or contractors pursuant to an interview.
Payments and Charges
You can purchase a set number of video interview credits (20, 50 or 100 per month as shown in the
Pricing Plan) or you can arrange a specific Plan tailored to your requirements. The
monthly Plans are valid for 3 months and interviews not used and redeemed within this period will expire and
cannot be transferred, unless a new Plan is purchased before the expiry date.
A video interview is only considered to be redeemed if a candidate has recorded or attempted to record their
interview. You will not lose an interview credit if the invited candidate has not taken their interview.
Whilst reasonable efforts have been made by Compact Interview to ensure candidates can complete interviews
effectively (e.g. bandwidth testing, audio visual testing, provision of interview tests etc), employers or
other account users cannot claim a refund for recorded videos that have poor video, sound and/or interviewee
Compact Interview will invoice you shortly after you have purchased video interview credits, and payment is
due within 28 days of the date of invoice.
All prices are quoted and payable in GBP pounds, unless specified in a commercial agreement with Compact
Interview. All prices are exclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT), and will bear VAT at the relevant rate where
Unpaid invoices will be subject to a monthly service charge of 1.5% of the outstanding balance. You must
notify Compact Interview of any disputed charges within 14 days from the date of the invoice, otherwise you
will be deemed to agree to such charges. In the event that charges due are not paid in full, for any reason,
other than a bona fide dispute, within this period, Compact Interview shall have the right to suspend all or
any portion of our services until such time as all undisputed charges and applicable late fees have been
Intellectual property rights
Unless otherwise stated, the copyright and other intellectual property rights in all material on this Site
(including without limitation photographs and graphical images) are owned by Compact Interview and its
licensors. You may not download copy or print any of the pages of the Site except for your own personal use,
and provided you keep intact all copyright and proprietary notices. No copying or distribution for any
business or commercial use is allowed. No framing, harvesting, "scraping", or other manipulation of the
content of the Site is permitted. You will not attempt to decipher, disassemble, reverse engineer or modify
any of the software, coding or information comprised in the Site; nor will you post to the Site any material
which infringes any intellectual property rights of any third party.
Trademarks and Trade Names
The trademarks or trade names owned by, licensed to, or associated with Compact Interview may not be used
without express written consent from Compact Interview. Any use of the trademarks or trade names will
constitute a breach of this Agreement.
We may gather information and statistics collectively about all visitors to this Site which may include the
information supplied by you which will help us to understand our users thereby creating a better service to
our customers. We will not disclose individual names or identifying information. All data will be in
aggregate form only. We believe this information helps us determine what is most beneficial for our users
and how we can continually improve our online service. We may share this kind of aggregate data with selected

Every effort is made to keep the Site up and running smoothly and fault-free. However, Compact Interview
accepts no responsibility for, and will not be liable for, the Site being temporarily unavailable for reasons
of maintenance / improvement, or due to technical issues beyond our control. We may change, suspend or
discontinue any aspect of the Site at any time, including the availability of any of the Site features or

No liability is accepted by Compact Interview for any loss or damage which may arise out of any person
relying on or using any information on this Site. Compact Interview shall not be liable to any person relying
on or using any such information for (a) loss of revenue, loss of actual or anticipated salary; loss of
actual or anticipated profits whether arising in the normal course of business or otherwise (including,
without limitation, loss of profits on contracts); loss of or damage to employment prospects; loss of
opportunity; loss of the use of money; loss of anticipated savings; loss of business; loss of goodwill;
loss of or damage to reputation; loss of or corruption to data; loss of management or administration time,
legal and other professional fees and expenses; or (b) any indirect or consequential loss or damages however
caused (including without limitation by reason of misrepresentation, negligence, other tort, breach of
contract or breach of statutory duty) which arise directly or indirectly from the use of or inability to
use the service, or from the provision of or failure to provide support services.
However, nothing in the above shall limit or exclude Compact Interview'Âs liability for fraud or for death or
personal injury caused by negligence, or to the extent otherwise not permitted by law.
You agree fully to indemnify us and keep us fully indemnified against all costs, expenses, claims, losses,
liabilities or proceedings arising from use or misuse by you of this Site.
If any provision of these Terms are held to be invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, such invalidly
shall not affect the validly of the remaining provisions, which shall remain in full force and effect.
Your use of the Site and downloads from it, and the operation of these Terms, shall be governed in accordance
with the laws of England and Wales. The English courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute
arising out of the use of this website.
